What to Expect:

CHEMICAL PEEL FAQS
Some clients may experience a temporary increase in breakouts as congestion beneath the skin comes to the surface. This is a normal part of the skin renewal process and typically resolves as the skin clears. Not everyone will experience purging, and your provider will determine the best treatment for your skin concerns.
Your provider will advise when it is safe to resume makeup, but most clients should wait at least 24 hours or until the skin has recovered.
Downtime varies depending on the peel selected. Some peels have little to no downtime, while others may involve several days of flaking or peeling.
Some chemical peels may be safe during pregnancy, while others are not. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please let your provider know during your consultation so the safest treatment option can be selected for you.
While some clients notice improvement after one treatment, a series of 3–6 treatments is often recommended for optimal results.
